- Mobil Equatorial Guinea Inc., the objective was the 'life extension' of a FPSO from 3 to 15 years. - Seaweld Engineering's involvement included: - fabricating and installing pipework - structural steelwork - blasting and painting - electrical/instrumentation work - MCV Offshore Base was moored alongside FPSO providing a base for Seaweld to work, accommodation for both Seaweld and other contractors, workshops, blast and painting facilities. - Dual pedestal cranes facilitated transfers from supply vessels to FPSO using the MCV deck as an interim, and much needed, storage and prefabrication area.
